The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
• In order to enable us to advise and represent you for your legal matters.
• In order to prepare and submit applications and tax returns to the courts, government agencies and other third party organisations on your behalf.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
• From the Home Office in connection with immigration applications.
• From HMRC and the courts and tribunals.
• From other third party organisations such as credit reference agencies if we need to obtain specific information related to you. Sometimes we obtain such information as part of our regulatory and/or legal obligations and/or to provide legal services to you.
We use the information that you have given us in order to perform our role as solicitors regulated by the SRA. We are legally required to preserve our files for six years after the matter completion. We may share this information with third party organisations as part of our regulatory and/or legal obligations and/or to provide legal services.

Your information is securely stored. We keep your personal information for six years. We will then dispose of your information by deleting your personal data.
